Ravens waive WR Cam Worthy; Sign Tom Nelson former safety who will convert to WR
Today the Baltimore Ravens released Cam Worthy, the former East Carolina University wide receiver and in a corresponding move they signed a safety Tom Nelson. Nelson has been out of the NFL since 2011, but the former safety will make the switch to wide receiver.

Extremely excited about my 7th NFL training camp with the @Ravens and my switch to WR. #letsworkWNST @WNST
The #Ravens waived wide receiver Cam Worthy and signed Tom Nelson, a former NFL safety who is switching to wide receiver.
Nelson is a long shot to make the team, but at the end of the day he is a freak athlete that can play special teams.
