Chiefs defensive tackle Dontari Poe underwent back surgery; Could miss time
Kansas City Chiefs trainer Rick Burkholder told reporters on Tuesday that DT Dontari Poe suffered a herniated disk in his back and has since undergone surgery, per Terez A. Paylor.
Dontari Poe timeline:
- – Hurt back in OTAs
- – Had two epidurals
- – Diagnosed as herniated disk

Dontari Poe is one of the best young interior defensive lineman in the NFL, this is a huge blow. A back injury for a big man is never a good thing.
