Chargers need to pay Eric Weddle; He hasn’t given up a TD in coverage since 2012
It has been two complete seasons since Eric Weddle the San Diego Chargers safety has given up a touchdown. That is pretty impressive considering it is the longest streak for a starter in the NFL according to Pro Football F0cus.
Weddle was expected to hold out because he wanted a contract extension but the Chargers failed to meet him in the middle. Now the Chargers if they are not prepared to throw huge money at him could lose him.
