Former Auburn safety Derrick Moncrief is transferring to Oklahoma State. This is a good move for Moncrief, but he will have to sit out the entire 2015 season before being eligible to play in 2016.
While Oklahoma State did not confirm the transfer to AL.com, Moncrief all-but announced his decision Friday on his Instagram account.
Moncrief, who was granted his release from Auburn on May 15, has enrolled at Oklahoma State, according to school records. The 6-2, 221-pound Prattville, Ala., will be a great addition to the Cowboys secondary come next year.
