Games Watched: North Dakota State vs. Iowa State, North Dakota State vs. Illinois State, North Dakota State vs. Coastal Carolina

Strengths:
-Prototypical size
-Strong arm
-Can throw the ball on a rope with really good velocoity
-Rare mobility for his size, can make things happen with his feet
-Cool under pressure
-Experience taking snaps under center in his one season as a starter
-Always stands tall in the pocket
Weaknesses:
-Low level of competition
-Oddly seemed out of sync with his center, there were a number of botched snaps (both from under center and from the gun)
-Doesn’t know when to give up when running the ball, takes some vicious hits
Bottom Line: I was blown away with what I saw from Carson Wentz in the tape I’ve seen. He really has all the tools, and puts them to good use. The only big question mark with Wentz, is his level of competition. However, big senior year could push Wentz up draft boards next year. This guy is the real deal.
