Lions RB Joique Bell wants to hit a mark that no RB has hit in Detroit since Barry
Detroit Lions have not had a running back that has ran for 1,200 yards in a season since Barry Sanders’s final campaign in 1998, but their current running back Joique Bell plans to end that streak.
“I’m going to rush for over 1,200 yards,” Bell said, via MLive.com. “That’s the minimum. If I do less than that, I’ll be surprised. I’ll be disappointed. Anything more than that, I wouldn’t be surprised at all.”
That is really a realistic number if you think about it. That is a minimum of 75 yards a game which is not very difficult to hit.
