Steelers have claimed Devin Gardner off waivers

Today the Pittsburgh Steelers signed former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Devin Gardner off the waivers from the Patriots.  

@AdamSchefter: Steelers have claimed former Michigan QB – and ever so briefly Patriots WR – Devin Gardner off waivers, per @FieldYates.

In a corresponding move the team released WR L’Damian Washington.
