Seahawks were able to stash Tory Slater the former West Georgia pass rusher away on IR, keeping him for next year
The Seattle Seahawks have placed former West Georgia defensive lineman Tory Slater on their injured reserve. This was an amazing move for the Seahawks, because Slater is a sleeper that will likely be a big contributor in the future.
To replace Slater the team signed former North Carolina State defensive tackle T.Y. McGill. McGill started 21 of 49 career games at North Carolina State. He finished his career with 131 tackles, 10 sacks and 24.5 tackles for loss. McGill took part in Seattle’s rookie mini camp last weekend on a tryout basis.
