Patriots have fired the two employees that they were backing up today in their rebuttal
Today the New England Patriots backed up their employees that were recently investigated for Deflategate, but the confusing part of today is the team also fired their employees. The team was willing to back up both John Jastremski and James McNally.
“Patriots owner Robert Kraft advised commissioner Roger Goodell last week that Patriots employees John Jastremski and James McNally have been indefinitely suspended without pay by the club, effective on May 6th,” the league’s release last week read.
What is really mind blowing to me, is they fired the employees after they stuck up for them, saying they were innocent. Why should the “Deflator” get suspended without pay/fired if all he was trying to do is lose a few pounds? I am so confused, can you help me understand?
