Pryor was signed by the Chiefs on January 7 after spending time with the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. The Chiefs said they would be working him out as a quarterback, not any other position (such as receiver or tight end, which had been speculated). The Chiefs began offseason workouts on April 20.
