Connor Halliday left Redskins head coach a voicemail and jumped back on a plane
Yesterday, news broke that Connor Halliday the former Washington State quarterback retired and decided to not pursue his NFL dream. Jay Gruden the head coach of the Redskins talked about the situation and stated, Halliday left him a message and just decided to leave.
“I can’t speak for the decision that he made,” Gruden said, fielding reporters’ questions during the break between Saturday’s two practices. “He just chose to jump on a plane and head to the house. Haven’t had a chance to talk with him yet. He just left me a voice message. I’m sure he had personal reasons behind it.”
