Adrian Peterson will forfeit 250,000 dollars to the Vikings; He wants out bad
Just how bad does Vikings running back Adrian Peterson want out of Minnesota? The former All-Pro running back for the Vikings will miss the OTA’s this week and forfeit 250,000 dollars which is his work-out bonus. That is not that much money to Peterson, but could he sit out the June mini camp also? If he does he will forfeit another 72,920 dollars according to Pro Football Talk.
Peterson can be fined by the Vikings, $12,155 for missing the first day, $24,300 for missing the second day, and $36,465 for missing the third day — a total of $72,920, if he misses the June 16th-18th mini camp.
According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports, Peterson still wants out of Minnesota, and it is likely just a matter of time before Peterson is traded. The Vikings will likely land a first round pick for the former Sooners running back.
