Steelers pick up the option for offensive guard David DeCastro
Today the Pittsburgh Steelers picked up the fifth year option of starting right guard David DeCastro. DeCastro has started 31 games over the last two seasons and played every snap in 2014, ranking 18th among 78 qualifying guards in PFF’s grades.

DeCastro has been a very solid draft pick for the Steelers. This is a very smart move for the Steelers who need to protect Big Ben and open lanes for Le’Veon Bell.
