One team has removed Marcus Peters off their draft board

The NFL is all about red flags right now.  Some teams not afraid to take a risk on a player, while some teams are scared to have a player in the news.  For example, both the Patriots and the Ravens will not be looking for guys that have gang violence or domestic violence in their background.  Both of them were caught with their pants down so to speak with the Ray Rice and Aaron Hernandez situations.  Well one player that is now facing adversity is Marcus Peters the lock down corner from the University of Washington.

It will only take one NFL team to believe in the character of former Washington star Marcus Peters for the cornerback to hear his name called in the first round of next week’s NFL draft. But for one club, it appears the talented man-to-man coverage ace who was dismissed from UW last November won’t get the call in any round.

“We’re not taking him, but somebody will and probably early, too,” a scout told

It sounds like Peters could drop in the draft, but who knows…
