Former Rams RB under investigation for killing his cellmate in Prison
Lawrence Phillips is in the news again. Not for football though unfortunately. Phillips is under investigation for murdering his cellie in Prison, according to reports.
Phillips was the former 6th pick in the 1996 NFL Draft. He was drafted out of Nebraska by the St. Louis Rams.

@JGalvinKGET: Phillips is suspected of murdering Damion Soward, 37, at 12:46 a.m. Saturday morning. Soward was serving 82-to-life for 1st degree murder.
@JGalvinKGET: Phillips was serving 31 years, 4 months for assaulting his ex-girlfriend and a host of charges related to hitting teenagers with a car.
