Could the Buffalo Bills build this offense around a rookie quarterback?

The Buffalo Bills new head coach has never been able to get his man at the quarterback position, but could things change this year?  The Buffalo Bills lured Rex Ryan the former New York Jets to come to Buffalo and they are trying to give him weapons.  The Bills traded for Shady McCoy, they signed Percy Harvin and they landed Charles Clay.  Now could the Bills help Rex land his quarterback?  We are learning that the Rex Ryan is in love with Bryce Petty and that is why the team is doing their homework. Could Rex finally get his guy at quarterback?

Earlier this year, Rex flew to Waco, Texas to work out his favorite prospect.

#Bills coach Rex Ryan was in Waco last week to work out Baylor QB Bryce Petty.

Petty has the strongest arm in the draft, and makes sense for the Bills, because he is projected as a 2nd to 3rd round quarterback.  The Bills do not own a first round pick because they traded it last year to get Sammy Watkins. Well yesterday, the Bills brass flew back out to Petty’s hometown to meet with the Baylor gunslinger.

News coming on @FOXSports1 — multiple members of the Bills front office are in Dallas to have dinner w/ QB Bryce Petty tonight. @NFLonFOX

Petty had an interview on 1660 ESPN in Texas last night, and he even feels the Bills are one of the most interested team in him, at least he hopes.

“I’m hoping that any time they meet with you, it’s a level of interest,” Petty said, via 1660 ESPN in Texas. “You’re not going to talk to somebody you’re not interested in. I really think this is a level of interest that might be more so than others. But who knows? They only know what they’re thinking.”
