The Cleveland Browns tried to trade for veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald

larry fitzgerald traded to browns?There have been many rumors floating around, but it one that keep getting brought up is the need for the Cleveland Browns to land a wide receiver. Well today, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com is reporting that the Browns attempted to make a trade for veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald before his contract was re-worked.

This would have been a great deal, but with Fitzgerald’s new contract and age the Browns would be burying themselves if they attempted to make a trade for him now.
