There have been many rumors floating around, but it one that keep getting brought up is the need for the Cleveland Browns to land a wide receiver. Well today, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com is reporting that the Browns attempted to make a trade for veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald before his contract was re-worked.

This would have been a great deal, but with Fitzgerald’s new contract and age the Browns would be burying themselves if they attempted to make a trade for him now.
