The Arizona Cardinals would be a Super Bowl contender with Adrian Peterson
Yesterday, Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported that the Arizona Cardinals are willing to give up a high draft pick to land Adrian Peterson. There are also reports that Peterson has mutual interest in the Cardinals, so what would that mean?
If the Vikings were willing to accepct the Cardinals offer, which will likely be a first rounder and then some, then the Cardinals would be pretty solid all around.
The team made it deep in the playoffs with a back-up quarterback, now add the best running back in the league and all the pieces that the Cardinals added on defense like Corey Peters, Sean Weatherspoon and Lamarr Woodley this team would be nasty.
The team does need to address their center position, better than AQ Shipley, but with Adrian Peterson in the backfield along with Andre Ellington, you need to pick your poision.
This team was on the brink last year, and with the key addition of AP, I would expect to see the team in the Super Bowl.
