Texans release Thad Lewis

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Texans have released veteran QB Thad Lewis on Monday.

This comes after the news that Houston is signing both Ryan Mallett and Brian Hoyer.

I would not be surprised if Ryan Firzpatrick is next.
