Saints are making moves; Release Pierre Thomas, Shopping Curtis Lofton
The New Orleans Saints are making moves today. According to Ian Rapoport the team has released running back Pierre Thomas, and are looking for offers for their starting linebacker.
@RapSheet: The #Saints are shopping LB Curtis Lofton, who had 144 tackles in 2014 and has played in 16 games every year of his career. Unexpected.
@RapSheet: More #Saints news: They’ve informed veteran RB Pierre Thomas that they are releasing him, source says.
These moves will free up cap space, but will it hurt the Saints longterm?
