Marcus Mariota says “Being the first pick, to it’s not a huge thing”
If you considered yourself the best prospect in the NFL Draft, and you were not picked first overall, would you be upset? Well according to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers website, Marcus Mariota is not worried about going first. While he says he would love to play for the Buccaneers, it doesn’t sound like a fighter of a quarterback that I would want. If you were to ask the same question to Jameis Winston, I wonder what he would say?
“Being the first pick, to me it’s not a huge thing,” Mariota said, via the team’s website. “I’d love to play for the Bucs. With that being said, if you find the team that wants you, that’s going to be the right team. I look forward to marketing myself and finding that team.”
