The Detroit Lions were not expecting to make Nick Fairley their major signing in free agency, because they were hoping to land Ndamukong Suh. Well now they might have a hard time keeping Fairley as well. According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, the Lions are still trying to get a deal done, but another team has entered the mix and making it hard for the Lions.
