Indianapolis Colts have signed former basketball standout Demarco Cox
The Indianapolis Colts have signed former college basketball player Demarco Cox to a futures contract.
Cox is an undrafted free agent who played high school football and was offered scholarships from Southeastern Conference and Big Ten schools.
The 6-foot-8, 294-pounder played basketball last year at Georgia Tech after four seasons at Ole Miss. He averaged 8.8 points per game and six rebounds per game last season and led the team with 28 blocked shots, according to Aaron Wilson.
