Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin wants to be back; Says it is in GOD’S Hands

maclinJeremy Maclin wants to be an Eagle, that is a fact.  The problem is the deal is not done yet, and the time is running out. The Eagles will need to sign Maclin within the next 10 days to keep him from heading into free agency.  Yesterday, Maclin spoke with the Philadelphia Daily News and said it is in God’s Hands, and he hopes to return to the team that drafted him.

“I’ve always said I want to be here in Philadelphia, but I’ve also always said I understand it’s a business,” Maclin said, via the Philadelphia Daily News. “Both sides have made it known that we both want each other back, so the rest of it is in God’s hands. If it’s supposed to happen, it’ll happen. I want to be here.”

The Eagles will be a very active squad over the next few days, but I have a feeling Maclin’s deal will be their main priority.

The good thing is many believe that Maclin will be slapped with a Franchise Tag if not signed long term.

CSN Philly’s Geoff Mosher believes the Eagles will use the franchise tag on free agent Jeremy Maclin on Monday if the two sides don’t agree to a long-term deal.
