Arkansas Baptist junior college and Western Kentucky University

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

Due to academic reasons I had to go the junior college route out of high school but out of junior college I had about 10 schools that were interested

How did you choose your school?

I had to sign quick do to the quick signing period in December

Where are you from?

New Orleans, La

Who is your role model, and why?

Deion Sanders because I feel like he is the best corner to ever play the game

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes basketball, soccer, baseball, and track

Did you play any other positions in football?

QB, RB, WR, Safety, Punter, Kicker

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m a 6’3 cornerback with great ball skills and a great knowledge of the game

dalton patterson nflWhen you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for the wide receivers tendency and also look at the quarterback’s tendencies. Look to see if the wide receiver is good getting off jams and if the wide receiver is physical.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Deon Long

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Richard Sherman because of his length and long arms. He is a lockdown cornerback

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Listening to music and eating candy

What is your biggest strength?

My height, length and ability to play press on any wide receiver

What is your biggest weakness?

My bench press

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I have the ability to lockdown any wide receiver thrown at me. I’m tall enough to guard the Megatons but quick enough to guard the Wes Welker’s

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Mike Vick and the Atlanta Falcons, and the Saints

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Deion Sanders, Michael Jordan, and Champ Bailey
