Could Dolphins bring Andre Johnson back home?
Andre Johnson the former University of Miami standout is likely to be cut after being told yesterday he will have a reduced role in the Houston Texans offense.
Johnson asked the Texans administration if he could be cut or traded because he still feels he has a lot left in the tank.
Johnson is scheduled to make 16.1 million under his current deal. If he is cut a team could make him a good offer, but I am willing to bet he would love to return to his hometown Miami.
The Dolphins only have four wide outs on their roster after releasing Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson. Then when you take into account the team is nit happy with the Mike Wallace deal and Rishard Matthews asked to be released, the Dokphins need wide outs.
If the Dolphins cut ties with Wallace and sign Johnson, he can come in and help assist the younger guys like Matt Hazel and Jarvis Landry.
@Bischoff_Scott: Andre Johnson has 64 TD in 12 seasons. Dez Bryant is the best WR in the NFL, he has 56 TD in his 5 years. Man, if Andre ever had a QB.
This does not seem impressive but when you look at the yardage he has put up, it is impressive.
