Chargers have interest in Broncos O-Lineman Orlando Franklin
The San Diego Chargers have interest in big offensive lineman Orlando Franklin who recently played for the Denver Broncos, according to UT-San Diego’s Franklin, 27, started every game last year at left guard.
His previous three seasons came at right tackle.
The team’s plan for him is unknown, but it has flirted this off-season with the idea of moving right tackle D.J. Fluker inside. Franklin’s versatility would allow it to do so. Franklin also could stay at guard as an upgrade to either Chad Rinehart or Johnnie Troutman.
