Cardinals offered Darnell Dockett 2.5 million a year before cutting him
The San Francisco 49ers are meeting with Darnell Dockett who was released a few days ago. According to Arizona Central, The Cardinals are believed to have offered a one-year deal worth a minimum of $2.5 million. Dockett could make up to about $4 million through playing-time and production incentives.
The report says Dockett is drawing “a lot of interest” from other teams, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Monday. Rosenhaus declined to reveal the teams interested, but said “we should have his situation resolved by the end of the week.”
