Buffalo Bills are expected to give LeSean McCoy a nice new deal
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that the final piece of McCoy’s trade to Buffalo will be a revised contract for McCoy.
@RapSheet: The final piece of LeSean McCoy for Kiko Alonso deal expected to be a revised contract for Shady. Right now, he has no guaranteed $ in 2016
He currently has no guaranteed money in 2016, which could change. According to Rapoport a source familiar with the Bills thinking says the team will “take very good care of him.”
McCoy was already due close to $25 million over the next three seasons.
I do not think Buffalo would trade a great young defensive building block like Kiko Alonso unless they believe McCoy is going to be part of the team for the rest of his contract.
