Browns cornerback Buster Skrine is getting tons of love
The Cleveland Browns would like to keep Buster Skrine on their active roster, but that might not happen.
Eight clubs had inquired on Skrine within the first three hours of the opening of the negotiating period, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Saturday.
After Kareem Jackson signed his deal to remain with the Texans and Brandon Flowers is expected to re-sign with the Chargers, the market really dries up for a good young corner. Skrine could be ready to leave Cleveland, especially if big money is thrown his way.
The Browns might try to keep Skrine, but they did draft two players in Justin Gilbert and Pierre Desir to replace him, and don’t forget K’Waun Williams who made an impact as an undrafted player.
