Pro Football Talk, was trying to get football fans to brace the idea of big news coming out of San Francisco. Well Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, is reporting the groundbreaking news.

Patrick Willis the former first round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, is expected to retire today from the NFL>

His retirement would net the 49ers $7.4M in cap space.
