Raiders would like to sign massive nose tackle when free agency opens up

terrenceAccording to Troy E. Renck of the Denver Post, the Raiders are “expected to pursue” Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton, who is slated to be an unrestricted free agent.

The 28-year-old Knighton proved a value signing for Denver in free agency in March 2013, starting all 32 regular season games in the last two years. Now, he’s poised to hit the market once again clearly established as one of the top available players at his position.

Knighton was a key piece of Jack Del Rio’s defense, and it starts in Oakland at stopping the run.  Knighton would be a very solid signing, because he could be a very solid rotational piece for the team.
