Marshawn Lynch is trademarking the saying “About that action Boss”
Records show that Seattle Seahawk running back Marshawn Lynch has filed a trademark request with the US.. Patent and Trademark Office for the phrase “About That Action Boss.” He made the phrase part of Seattle’s lexicon after he uttered it during Super Bowl Media Day in 2014. The request was filed on October 20 of 2014.
The request seeks to gain trademark status, so the phrase can be used on “bracelets, namely, bracelets made of silicone; rubber or silicone wristbands in the nature of bracelets; watches; all-purpose sport bags, all-purpose athletic bags, all-purpose carrying bags, athletic bags, backpacks, book bags and duffel bags, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, namely, shirts, sweatshirts; headwear, namely, hats, caps.”
Lynch already trademarked Beast Mode, and now he will have another business venture.
