The Kansas City Chiefs need multiple wide receivers because last year they could not get into the end zone. Well today the team began letting go some of their baggage. The team released Donnie Avery which ultimately saved the team 3.4 million dollars.
The Chiefs brought him on as a free agent in the 2013 off-season when he was expected to be the No. 2 receiver in the Chiefs offense. His contract was for three years and over $8 million.
