Byron Maxwell wants 10 million a season, and the Eagles are interested

Tony Pauline of Draft Insiders is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles are very interested in landing the only healthy Legion of Boom member. Byron Maxwell has been saying for a while he cannot wait to hit free agency, and according to Tony Pauline, I know why.  Maxwell is hoping to land a deal worth 10 million a season, and to be honest, that number is crazy for a back up corner.

Yesterday I mentioned how hot the free agent cornerback market will be. Early numbers i’m hearing are $10 mill/annually for Byron Maxwell

Well if it makes you feel any better, Pauline is also reporting that the Eagles look like the front runners to land him….

Present word has the Philadelphia Eagles as front runners for cornerback Byron Maxwell.
