5 Small Schoolers who will make a huge impression at the Combine

delaireRemember these small schoolers because they might shock everyone this week at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Many will not talk about these guys because they are not from USC or Notre Dame, but after the event people will be talking about them.

Ali Marpet – Hobart – OL – Ali Marpet is as strong as an ox.  I would not be surprised if he benches 225 a whole bunch of times.  This kid is a work horse and a guy that is a gym rat.  Marpet is a very strong country boy who will be impressive at the events.

Ryan Delaire – Towson – DE/OLB – Delaire is a freak athlete, and many are not talking about him.  Well after this event people will. He is coming off a minor surgery but I still expect him to have one of the fastest forty times for a defensive lineman.

Bryan Bennett – Southeastern Louisiana – QB – Bennett will be at the Combine as a passer, but remember the name. If he runs he might shock a bunch of people. He is a very fast kid.  He will do a good job at any of his workouts.

Dontella Luckett – Harding – WR – Remember his name, because he could be the guy that breaks Chris Johnson’s forty record.  He ran a 10.44 100 yard dash and the short compact Luckett is a blazer.  I would not be shocked if he leaves with a Porsche.

Lynden Trail – Norfolk State – OLB – Trail is a big freakish kid that played both Offense and Defense for NSU.  He is a good player with great physical gifts. I could see him really showcasing his talents this weekend.

NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport. We call them diamonds in the rough. My name is Damond Talbot, I have worked extremely hard to help hundreds of small school players over the past several years, and will continue my mission.
