Washington Redskins hire a very good talent evaluator as their GM

ssjm1022singletary9ktb102108The Washington Redskins will no longer go into the season without a General Manager. According to multiple reports the Redskins have hired a GM.

The team will hire former 49ers general manager and Seahawks personnel executive Scot McCloughan. The deal is for 4 years according to Ian Rapoport.

McCloughan told NFL Media’s Albert Breer that he also held discussions with the Jets and Raiders. McCloughan stepped aside from his most recent stint with the Seahawks to deal with some personal issues, which were detailed in a recent profile done by ESPN The Magazine.
