Tennessee Titans are not for sale according to Tommy Smith
Over the past month there have been numerous runors saying he Titans ownership would sell the team, but Tommy Smith said those rumors are false today.
Tommy Smith assumed control of the team in October 2013, following the death of his father-in-law, Bud Adams, at age 90.
Smith told The Tennessean that reports of the team’s impending sale are “completely off-base and unfounded.”
“The team is not for sale. We are not entertaining any conversations in regard to the sale of the team. Period,” Smith said. “Any statements that say so are completely off base, and I resent it. It is not helpful to what we are trying to accomplish as an organization and as a family.”
