A lot has been said about the legitimacy of the Patriots’ success in the wake of Deflategate. Although many people don’t believe that deflated footballs had anything to do with the Patriots reaching the Super Bowl, there are those who believe that the Patriots cheated and shouldn’t be allowed to play the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
When McCourty was asked if he would care to be called a Cheater he answered pretty cearly.
“If I have a ring on my finger, not at all,” McCourty said, via Michael Hurley of CBS Boston. “Not at all. I’ll let ‘em look at the ring.”
It sounds like the former Rutgers standout only cares about winning.
