Miami Dolphins are expected to give Joe Philbin an extension
The Miami Dolphins were close this year to the playoffs, but they still fell short. Well the staff made a move today that might make some fans scratch their heads.

The Dolphins are set to offer head coach Joe Philbin a contract extension, according to a report from the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero.
The move will prevent Philbin from coaching the team on the final year of his contract. This protects the Dolphins from losing their coach if he does in fact turn the team around.
