Falcons are expected to hire Dan Quinn as their next head coach
Fox Sports had reported earlier this month Quinn was expected to take the job once Seattle’s post-season ended. Quinn cannot be officially offered the job until the Seahawks’ season is over.
Quinn will be joined on the Atlanta staff by one of his former players, former Tampa Bay head coach Raheem Morris. While Quinn is “expected to call the defensive plays,” the report said, Morris will serve as the Falcons assistant defensive coordinator, according to the Washington Post. Quinn coached Morris as a player at Hofstra in the 1990s.
