Eagles are not that close to a long term deal with Jeremy Maclin yet
ESPN Insider Adam Caplan was on 97.5 the Fanatic, and he suggested that Jeremy Maclin switching agents has created a bit of uncertainty that a deal will get done.
“I’m not nearly as optimistic as I was before,” Caplan said. “It’s going to take way more work than I anticipated.”
According to a NJ.com, Adam Caplan is right — the Eagles and Maclin have hit a bit of a wall in their contract negotiations after nearly having a deal completed towards the end of last season.
It will be interesting to see if the Eagles can get a long term contract accomplished because he was explosive this year. He truly is a person that needs to be signed long term.
