Mike Sellers

What Position Do you play?

I play Center but was a former FB

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

About 12 schools

Where did you choose and why?

I pick the Citadel because my other scholarships were taken because of injury.

What were your goals for your senior year?

One of my biggest goals was winning a Team accolade.

Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?

I’ve met with a few scouts and they love me at H-back

At your position, what separates you from the others?

I think my ability to catch the ball will separate me from the others

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

When I’m breaking down film I look for my opponents weakness and strengths

Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?

I would have to say the Brent Russell from Ga-southern

If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?

Actually I would compare myself to a guy who has the same name as me former Washington Redskin, Mike Sellers

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I think one of the biggest challenges was moving from running back to center! But through countless reps I became pretty good.

What system fits your style of play the best?

I’m a pretty versatile guy I’ve played running back center fullback Tight end and linebacker. I think I will fit a system long before a system fits me

What is your biggest strength?

I think my biggest strengths is my tenacity

What is your biggest weakness?

I believe some time I’m to passionate about the game

Growing up, who was your role model?

I would most likely say that growing up I had a father who always told me to never limit myself to one position ,be able to adjust and and adapt to whatever is asked of you

Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?

My favorite team is Green bay. I don’t really have a favorite player anymore. Brett Favre use to be a player I looked up to

What was the most tragic event that ever happened in your life and how did you overcome it?

My biggest tragic event would have to be losing my grandmother but I overcame this by doing everything that would make her proud !

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

I would have to say Malcolm x Albert Einstein And Gandhi

With your first paycheck what would you buy?

Probably something for my son
