Bills will interview the Eagles offensive coordinator; Already interviewed Mike Shanahan
The Buffalo Bills search continues and the team is doing a very thorough job. According to Mark Maske of the Washington Post the Bills asked for and received permission to speak to Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur about their head coaching job. That permission is granted as long as the coach in question wants to take the interview, so Shurmur’s going to be in the mix in Buffalo.
In other news the Bills did interview Mike Shanahan as well this week in San Francisco. The team interviewed Shanahan who was the former Broncos and Redskins head coach. The team is serious about their search and has already conducted tons of interviews.
The Bills have also interviewed Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich, Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase and Seahawks coordinators Darrell Bevell and Dan Quinn. They have requested interviews with almost every other person as well including Pep Hamilton, and Hue Jackson.
