Three teams that would look great with Leonard Fournette running for them

Leonard Fournette was recently arrested for driving with a suspended license, and although his head coach Doug Marrone said he would not punish him for his mistake, are the Jaguars fed up with Fournette’s on and off the field practices?

“We talked about it and you know it’s been documented that he was arrested for a suspended license,” Marrone said. “And I told him. I try to always put a story to it as a learning lesson, and I told him a story about myself. It was somewhere in the late ’90s. I was a national recruiter. I was flying all around the country and I had a speeding ticket in one state and I thought I paid it. All of a sudden recruiting is over and I’m in Daytona Beach, Fla. (and got arrested for not paying the ticket during a traffic stop)…

It sounds like the Jaguars will not take action, but if a team comes calling will the Jaguars move on from him? I feel they will, but with that being said, what teams make the most sense for Leonard Fournette, let’s take a look.

Oakland Raiders – The Raiders have moved on from Marshawn Lynch and let’s face it Fournette would look amazing in Black and Silver. Fournette is one of the better power backs in the NFL and he is someone that the Raiders need to be calling for. The question is what is he worth? Could he be had for a mid round pick? That will be up to the Jaguars but I feel they would be willing to move on if they can get out of his salary and his headaches. Raiders love headaches so this makes sense.

Green Bay Packers – Let’s face it, they could use a back. I love Aaron Jones, but I feel Fournette is an upgrade. They could keep Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones and have one of the best young running back cores in the NFL. Fournette has a mean running style and trying to stop him running in the snow is going to be hard. Ask the teams that played OJ Simpson back in the day.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Right down the road, this is the team that makes the most sense. Leonard Fournette is five times better than any running back they have on their roster. The Buccaneers cannot be comfortable with Peyton Barber leading the way in 2019. If they do they will be looking for a new GM really soon. Bruce Arians needs a running back and Fournette would be a dog in Tampa.
