The Vikings released runningback Ben Tate
The Minnesota Vikings have released Ben Tate who was signed just a few weeks ago. Tate has become a bust lately. Last time several teams tried to claim him, but with it being so close to the end of the year, the teams might try to let him slide through waivers to save money on his contract and sign him to a futures deal.
The Vikings paid a lot of money for Tate.
