How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

Out of high school I was being recruited by Oregon State, Arizona, Nevada, UTEP.

Where did you choose and why?

I chose Oregon State because I loved the family atmosphere and small city of Corvallis on top of the great coaching staff that had many years of NFL experience.

What were your goals for your senior year?

The main goal I focused on was having a field goal percentage of 90% or higher.

Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?

I have not met with any scouts yet.

At your position, what separates you from the others?

Leg strength and consistency.

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

I strictly look at my technique on top of the hold and snap if the kick is missed. As a kicker though, the main thing you look at is technique and being consistent on each kick.

Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?

The toughest player I have faced as a kick returner would have to be Ty Montgomery from Stanford.

If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?

Sebastian Janikowski

trevorWhat was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle I faced was dealing with death of a former teammate and Grandfather within months of each other. I overcame it by staying in touch with my loved ones and talking to them whenever I was down.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength would have to be my resiliency and not worrying about a past kick and focusing on the next one.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness would have to be loving to tackle on kickoffs.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am an athletic kicker that is very competitive and can beat out any kicker when going head to head.

Growing up, who was your role model?

My Father for all the hard work and long hours he works to give my family a comfortable life.

Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?

My favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks because of Pete Carrol and all the underrated players that play for them. My favorite player was Sean Taylor because no matter what game it was he played his hardest and always found a way to be a playmaker from the safety position.

What was the most tragic event that ever happened in your life and how did you overcome it?

The most Tragic event was the passing of my teammate and I overcame that by becoming closer with my team and creating a brotherhood within the locker room.

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

Sean Taylor, Kobe Bryant and Robin Williams.

With your first paycheck what would you buy?

I would pay back my parents for all the hard work and money they have spent to get me to where I am now.
