What is your name?

Ryan Adams

Where do you play college football?

Southeastern Louisiana

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

6

How did you choose your school?

Southeastern was the only school to offer a scholarship

Where are you from?

Dayton, Ohio

Who is your role model, and why?

My Father, because he is my biggest support of my kicking. He has taken me all across the country to kicking camps and will do anything to make me a better person.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

My name is just starting to get out there but I had an Eagles scout talk to me and said I had a very strong leg and could get a shot as a free agent

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up I played baseball, football and soccer is where I got such a strong leg from

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played tight end and defensive end

At your position, what separates you from others?

I think i have one of the strongest legs and believe that I could go head to head with any kicker in country. I just never got my shot at a big school coming out of high school

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Well as a kicker the name of the game is consistency, you either make it our you don’t, there is no in-between.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I can’t think anyone off the top of my head but I played with Robert Afford and is by far the best corner I’ve seen in person.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would compare myself to Matt Bryant. He is very consistent and has one of the strongest legs in the NFL. 50+ field goals for him are just like a little chip shot, and that’s how I feel about my kicking

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I would say my biggest obstacle in my life was my whole recruiting process in high school. Going into signing day I had no offers. Every school I talked to they wanted me to walk on. Luckily I  was sending out my highlights to coaches and Mike Lucas the head coach was just looking threw his email and saw it said kicker with big leg and called me down on a visit and then they offered me a scholarship. Going threw all of that was just an up and down roller coaster.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

No not really. I try to just be chill because who wants an uptight kicker……. gotta be loose

What is your biggest strength?

My leg.  In high school and college they call me thunder foot

What is your biggest weakness?

That I never punted in college

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

That I am a hard working individual and that my stats speak for them self that I will get the job done.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Growing up my favorite team was the Cincinnati Bengals

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My Grandpa that Ive never met, Steve Jobs, and Muhammad Ali
