What is your name?

Quinn Epperly

Princeton University

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

I had 3 offers

How did you choose your school?

Princeton wanted me the most out of the other schools and it offered an education I couldn’t receive at other schools.

Where are you from?

Knoxville, Tennessee

Who is your role model, and why?

Tim Tebow because of his competitiveness and strength of faith.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

Have not met with any scouts, but had scouts come to practice and meet with my coaches.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Track, baseball, and basketball

Did you play any other positions in football?

At your position, what separates you from others?

My ability to be a playmaker at the QB position on top of being very sure of what I am seeing on the field.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look at their top cover percentages, how their top covers differ from the “gold standard”, how they play/roll their free safety to tip their defense, what blitzes they bring that can break my protections, how many players they like to play in the box, certain tips that distinguish their defenses between man and zone, how they start games, tendencies on first and third downs/backed up/goal line situations

quinnWho was the toughest player you ever faced?

Teammate, Caraun Reid

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Kordell Stewart because he was used in several different ways at the beginning of his career while developing as a good QB

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

In the past two years, I have overcome back surgery, mono, and two turf toe injuries to be able to play and not miss practice

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Listen to worship music

What is your biggest strength?

My love of the game and willingness to play through extreme amounts of pain

What is your biggest weakness?

I think I can always improve at being a smoother in-pocket passer

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I can provide looks that most quarterbacks can’t, I am the first one there and last one to leave, and have the smarts and talent to succeed at the next level

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Brett Favre with the Green Bay Packers

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Jesus, Vince Lombardi, grandfather
