Where do you play college football?

Eastern Illinois University

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

About 10 or 11

How did you choose your school?

I chose NMSU out of high school based on the coaching staff and the direction Coach Walker was taking the program

Where are you from?

Wahiawa, HI

Who is your role model, and why?

My brother who is fighting brain cancer and is the most positive and strongest person I know. He still wakes up every day with a smile on his face looking forward in life.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played baseball and basketball as well

Did you play any other positions in football?

WR, Linebacker and punter growing up.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My knowledge of the game and the QB position. Ive played in 6 different offenses and have been able to pick them all up very quickly.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I like to find tendencies of the defense that’s going to give away the coverage there in or a blitz there bringing. Then I look for what they like to do in certain situations

Would have to be Ezekiel Ansah he was monster on the field

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would have to say Mathew Stafford, I just see myself in him a lot.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

It would be getting a new coaching staff at NMSU and them wanting to go in a different direction at QB and then have to leave NMSU and transferring to EIU and to adjust to a new school and team. The way I was able to overcome it was just working hard and on and off the field.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Text my family and go out on the field super early to throw and run around a little.

What is your biggest strength?

My arm strength and Accuracy

What is your biggest weakness?

I can work more on my speed.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

My favorite player growing up was Brett Favre and my favorite team has always been the Dallas Cowboys

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Peyton Manning and Bob Marley
